A small group of medical providers were looking to change New Hampshire’s health care landscape…

Do you know the story of how the BASC came to be? True New Hampshire entrepreneurship and a need to serve the community and improve medical care led the founders of BASC to do something no one in the Granite State had done before.

UPDATED 8/25/21: Masks are still required in all BASC facilities. We appreciate your continued cooperation with this policy.

We want to assure you that the safety of patients, visitors, and staff is our top priority. Following updated CDC recommendations and guidelines, policies and procedures have been established to enhance protection against the spread of this virus and create a safe environment for everyone.

All patients and visitors will be greeted by staff at the door where a health screening will be performed that includes temperature taking and questions about symptoms you may be experiencing on the day of your surgery or procedure. If you have been exposed to a Covid positive person or travelled prior to your surgery/procedure, and have questions about the most recent update or changes to our policies and procedures, which change frequently following CDC guidelines, please call the Center to review with appropriate staff.

We understand the concerns that patients may have about the Covid-19 pandemic as business returns to a “new” normal here at the BASC.

-All patients, visitors, staff, and providers are asked to wear masks at all times (unless asked to remove).
-Hand sanitizer is available at several locations throughout the facility.
-We may ask for visitors/rides to wait in their cars or return for pick-up.
-Limited waiting room access at this time.
-One parent/guardian is allowed to accompany minors and patients with disabilities.
-Social distancing practices in waiting room areas.
-Increased sanitation of waiting room, restrooms, and high touch surfaces throughout the day.
-Staff and providers are following rigorous protocol for handwashing and hand sanitizing.

We will continue to adjust our plan of care for our patients and visitors as the pandemic evolves and through guidelines from the CDC.

My 15 month old daughter just had eye surgery there this morning. The nurses, doctors and front desk staff were all amazing. They explained everything that was going to be done and eased my nerves. Would definitely recommend them.

BASC (Bedford) Patient – January 2021

Very caring, compassionate and helpful people. Because of a procedure I had 25 years ago certain information was needed before I could get an MRI. With the Surgeon long retired and the hospital saying they had no info it was going to be impossible for me to get the MRI needed. With Sharon’s caring, compassionate persistence and knowledge, she was able to get the information needed for me to have the MRI.

Wanda K.

BASC Imaging Patient – May 2020

My experience at NASC was above board! My pre-op nurse was kind, understanding and very informative. They put me at ease regarding anesthesia. The doctor was confident. And my nurse went above and beyond, she listened to my worries, made me feel comfortable and hung with me after the fact to insure my nerves. I have never done a recommendation before but I felt this was the one worth it.
